Advanced 4 x 4 Courses
Winching:
The main objective of the course is to guide and train delegates in the safe and responsible operation of a vehicle mounted winch with due regard for the environment.
The secondary objective is to provide the delegate with the necessary driving skills required during a winching operation as well as an understanding of the workings & basic maintenance of the vehicle & winch equipment.
The breakdown of the day will include:
- Winch Preparation
- Winch Setup
- Winch Practical

Trailer Towing:
For any drivers using a 4x4 vehicle to tow; either in a recreation or business environment we offer Trailer Courses tailored to you or your company.
All courses will include as a basic:
- Coupling & Uncoupling
- Loading & Load Security
- Vehicle Marshalling
- Forward & Reverse Towing
The level of instruction will lessen throughout the course to encourage independence of the driver.
Duration: One Day to Two Days
We also offer proffesional LANTRA courses.
It is government legislation that any persons passing their car test after the 1st January 1997 are required to pass an additional driving test in order to gain certain towing entitlements for further details on these categories please see www.dvla.gov.uk. Should you require preparation for your test, please just call our Centre for further information on packages to suit your individual needs.
