The Land Rover Experience North Yorkshire is among the first of nine centres in the UK designed to provide comprehensive tuition over a range of challenging surfaces as well as providing a focal point for corporate hospitality and team building events.

The centre, based at the Coniston Hall Hotel, in Coniston Cold near Skipton is run by Robina Farnell and Ronnie Dale, who have more than 25 years experience in off-road driving and within the Land Rover franchise. The Land Rover Experience North Yorkshire is set on a 1200 acre estate and employs up to 20 local people as both full and part time staff with all the instructors at the centre being trained to the highest standards by the Land Rover Driving Experience.

A model of countryside diversity, the centre is situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, close to the famous 'Three Peaks' of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.

Environmental awareness is assured by following Land Rover's 'Fragile Earth' policy and extends even to the cabin, used as a reception area, which has been made by Yorkshire craftsmen using local materials.

The courses on offer at Land Rover Experience North Yorkshire use the full Land Rover stable of vehicles of the Defender, Discovery, Freelander and Range Rover and range from the half-day Vehicle Adventure Course to the more advanced courses such as Health and Safety and Utility Training.

The Land Rover Experience North Yorkshire offers a challenging and rewarding experience and teaches safe and responsible off-road driving. Above all, it's fun - but serious fun".

Robina Farnell added: "The response we have received to the centre has been tremendous. Land Rover customers are amazed at the capabilities of their vehicles and recognise the importance of proper training.
